What is Narcissism?
The term “NARCISSIST” has in recent years gotten much attention and often has been misused as an insult or to end a conversation and to hurt others. While everyone is narcissistic to a certain a degree, and some narcissism is healthy, as it allows you to take care of yourself, the term Narcissist and Narcissism on this page is devoted to those that use their inflated sense of importance to play with others lives, hurting others in the process.
As per definition:
- A person who is overly concerned with his/her own desires, needs, or interests
- An extremely self-centered person who has an exaggerated sense of self-importance.
- Person full of egoism and pride.
- A person in Love with themselves.
While all of these traits are true to a certain extent, this does not scratch the surface of what narcissist is. There are a few distinct types, with an addition of the Sociopath.
